Enrique Villalobos Send Message To Investors
The UCCR has sent notice to all its members and Villalobos investors, that it has received notice directly from Enrique Villalobos himself and of his re-iterated intention to make good his debt to his investors.

In the letter, Enrique talks about the unjust judicial process against him and his brother and thanks God that a trial date has been finally set.

Enrique, in the letter, also urges that investors who filed a claim against him still have time to withdraw such a claim and failure to do so before trial, would only complicate matters.

Villalobos also dispels rumours that he will only pay the principal. He says in the letter that he intends to play principal and interest when the right time comes, but, due to the situation, he will not be able to pay the high interest percentage (up to 3% per month in many cases) due to the consequences that impeded and obstructed the profitable management of the funds lent him.

Enrique closes his letter with the faith that the trial that is set to begin in February 2007 will exhonerate him and his brother and at which time he will be in a position to make good on his promise to ALL of his investors.

Following is a copy of the letter as sent to UCCR members, in Spanish and followed by the English translation.

Estimados amigos,

Salmo 23.

Firma.

Dear friends,

Once again I direct myself to you in order to reiterate my complete willingness to honor my obligations, when the circumstances so permit, once the unjust judicial process ends, to which they have finally set a date Thank God.

I want to thank all of you who have always trusted in me, I appreciate this from the bottom of my heart. To those who filed legal actions against us I would like to tell them that these have made our wait even longer and have further complicated the situation and I communicate to them by this medium that there is still time to search their conscience and withdraw these before the trial, this is still possible and I ask them with all humility to help us make this a quick trial and that I can promptly sit with all the people who loaned me money and make the necessary arrangements to everyone’s satisfaction. I repeat, there is still time to withdraw these legal actions and make this process much easier.

Among the rumors that circulate it is said that I will only pay principal, that I would not pay interest. I want to assure you that all the interest that remained pending for 2002 will be paid in accordance with what was established. Starting from January, 2003 it would obviously not be possible to pay the percentage that we had agreed as you can understand that the judicial process and all of its consequences impeded and obstructed the profitable management of the funds that you loaned me

I am sure that all the people to whom I am indebted will understand and recognize the losses, the costs, and the economic difficulties that I have had during these years as a consequence of an unjust process, with arbitrary proceedings conducted against me. They will also recognize my disposition, many times reiterated, to honor my obligations with all my creditors.

All of this will be duly negotiated. I ask God for health, much wisdom and much patience to reach the trial in February of the coming year with the faith and confidence that we will be successful. Now we must help each other, work as a team, and collaborate so that the trial is carried out and we are victorious.

I am very grateful to God, to my lawyers and to you who have had faith in me, to all you have done for this cause until now. Let us remain together in this effort. Everything will turn out well.

With my utmost appreciation and consideration. Psalm 23.
