Mexico, Ecuador Revamp Ties
Presidents Vicente Fox (Mexico) and Alfredo Palacio (Ecuador) are overhauling Monday their bilateral relations to make them stronger.

Sunday afternoon, Palacio arrived in Mexico City accompanied by a 30-strong mission, including Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade ministers Francisco Carrion and Jorge Illingworth, respectively.

After the official welcoming ceremony, the Ecuadorian statesman will meet with Fox to tackle energy, trade, agriculture and other issues.

Both dignitaries are slated to seal several documents including a joint declaration and later issue a press statement.

Palacio is wrapping up this visit Tuesday.
