to Approve TLC

eye.
Protest March On For Tomorrow
Lineth Saborí0, acting as
president for the Republic, was
firm in her words yesterday,
that those who take action in
tomorrow's protest of the TLC
will not be paid their days
salary.
Inflation and Poverty Increase
The signals that the economy of
Costa Rica is emitting make it
foreseeable for a hike in
inflation and poverty this year,
as compared to the preceding
ones, according to analysts,
such as Miguel Gutierrez, a
member of the State of the
Nation board.
Hyatt to Invest us$50 Million
The international hotel chain
Hyatt plans to invest us$50
million in Costa Rica in the
next two years, mainly in a
200-room hotel, according to
firm sources.
