Saprissa in Driver Seat
Saprissa of Costa Rica moved a step closer to lifting the CONCACAF Champions Cup after gaining a 2-0 first-leg lead over Mexican side Pumas in its final clash.

Hosts Saprissa dominated the match with Cristian Bolaños opening the scoring after 20 minutes.

Gabriel Badilla then doubled the advantage with a header shortly before the interval.

Pumas will now be looking to overturn the deficit when the return leg is played in Mexico next week.
