Servicemen found to form Neo-Nazi groups in
Uruguay
The Uruguayan police found two Neo-Nazi
groups made up by servicemen, the daily El Pais reported Tuesday.
The National Information and Intelligence Direction and the South
District of the Montevideo Police made an investigation into the group
members by following them up and bugging their telephones.
They found the soldiers were trying to form a part of a Neo-Nazi network
which is connected by the Internet and operates in Brazil, Argentina,
Chile and Uruguay.
The groups have five to eight cells, and the majority of the members are
single young men from the middle class, said the investigators.
