Two Storms Will Bring Heavy
Rain Until Tomorrow
The Comisión Nacional de
Prevención de Riesgos y Atención
de Emergencias (CNE) issued a
"green" alert for the Pacific
and Northern zone as two weather
fronts are affecting the area,
giving way to fog, drizzle and
heavy rain.
A low pressure system stationed
off northeast of the Isla del
Coco is moving towards the
coast that will affect most of
Central America's Pacific
coastline.
At the same time, a tropical
wave moving west from the
Caribbean to the Pacific ocean
will pass between Costa Rica and
Nicaragua, which will affect the
Central Valley, with heavy fog,
drizzle and lots of rain.
The CNE says that rain heavier
than normal can be expected for
the next couple of days.
