Mexico and Russia Sign Important Energy Agreements
Mexican President Vicente fox and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin signed Tuesday in the Kremlin a joint statement and several bilateral agreements, emphasizing on cooperation in energy.

According to one of those agreements, Moscow will provide equipment and liquid gas to build and start four electric plants in the Pacific coast of Mexico.

Meanwhile, Mexican companies will participate in the Sajalin-1 project, which includes gas-prospecting works and exploitation of the hydrocarbon in that Russian eastern island.
