Shooting spree kills 7 in southwest Colombia
At least seven people died after gunmen opened fire on customers in a bar near Colombia's southwestern city of Tulua, the authorities said Tuesday.

Unidentified gunmen, who rode motorcycles to the bar in the rural area of Aguaclara, might be avenging previous killings as some of the victims themselves had been involved in homicide cases, said Tulua police commander Col. Santos Edgar Rodriguez.

Police arrested three suspects after the shooting. An investigation is under way to determine whether the shooting was a revenge among criminal rings, said the officer.

Last Saturday, four people were murdered in the same region. Their bodies were found in a lake.
