Exposure to Pornography At An
Early Age Can Lead to Problem,
Study Shows
An investigation by the Hospital
Naciónal de Niños (Childrens
Hospital) says that 59% of
adolescents admitted to viewing
pornography. The investigation
found that minors under the age
of 10 (6.7%) have been exposed
to porno, 59.8% between the ages
of 10 and 13 and 23.2% of those
between the ages of 14 and 18.
The numbers were released to the
members of the Clínica de
Adolescentes del Hospital
Nacional de Niños, as part of
the investigation to determine
the real situation of sex
education in schools.
The numbers are important
because experts believe that
exposure to pornography at an
early age can lead to committing
sexual offenses against other
students.
Currently there about 700
complaints per year before the
courts of juveniles sexually
abusing other minors.
