Cuban Hotel Reopened for Canadians
Villa Cayo Coco Hotel has been reopened with the presence of 50 Canadian experts from Quebec-based Caribe Sol tour group, a report on Cubatravel website said Thursday.

The Cuban Ministry of Tourism website added that Villa Cayo Coco, owned by Grupo Gaviota SA, restarted operations in view of the winter season in collaboration with Havantur Collection.

Cayo Coco is one of the islets in Cuba´s northern archipelago, Jardines del Rey, in the province of Ciego de Avila.

The Canadian delegation toured Coco and Guillermo keys as part of their agenda to establish tourism programs from Canada to Cuba, according to their spokespersons.

Another group of Canadian experts from Toronto-based Hola Sun tour agency will be coming soon, Cuban tourism officials in Ciego de Avila reported.

Villa Cayo Coco has 48 rooms (one and two-story bungalows) with satellite TV and other conveniences, including Internet service, lobby bar, swimming pool, snack bar and marina.

Jardines del Rey is becoming increasingly attractive to visitors from around the world, mainly those interested in quiet places in contact with nature.
