Woman Arrested For Using 11 Year Old Daughter to Sell Drugs
The Policía de Control de Drogas (anti drug squad) detained a woman in Pavas on Wednesday for, as it appears to police, she was sending her 11 year old daughter out selling drugs.

The woman was identified as Vargas Villegas and was known locally as "nita".

Police confiscated some 200 grams of crack cocaine and 140 baggies of marijuana in the area known as la Finca San Juan de Pavas, on the outer most edge west of San José.

Three others were detained by police as part of the investigation, all tied to the sale of narcotics.

Police say that the investigation has been active since last November and ended yesterday, when investigators had to call in help from the riot squad when a group of people began throwing stones at the police cars during the arrest. Several police patrol cars were damaged in the incident.
