Fidel Castro to Deliver Special Speech
The Cuban President Fidel Castro will deliver a special national speech Monday, according to a note by Granma newspaper.

Granma, the Cuban Communist Party official newspaper, did not give details about the issues, but it is scheduled to start at 6pm local time and will be broadcast to the entire nation.

The Cuban president has delivered a series of speeches in the last few weeks to announce important measures for the social benefit of the Cuban people.

Some of the measures included the revaluation of the national currency, the distribution of electric appliances to families at a reasonable price and the increase of pensions and social security.
