Case of Five Cuban Jailed in US Denounced in Madrid
An energetic denounciation of the terrible conditions five Cubans jailed in the US for fighting terrorism are undergoing has been made by Olga Salanueva, the wife of one of these political prisoners.

She was invited to close the so-called Cuban Symposiums held since April 6 at Max Madera House, Madrid, including lectures and debates over the UN Commission on Human Rights currently sessioning in Geneva.

Ramon Labañino, Rene Gonzalez, Gerardo Fernandez, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez, the so-called Cuban Five, are well known at Max Madera, where members of committees of solidarity with Cuba frequently gather.

After referring to details of the cases followed against her five countrymen, Salanueva answered questions on their situation in US jails and on arbitrary acts committed against them by the US government of George W. Bush.

Leaders of so-called The Cuban Five committees vowed to step up their campaign for their release and for Salanueva and other relatives to get visas to visit them.
