Saprissa Fan to the Death!
A deal between the Deportiva
Saprissa and Funeraria La Auxiliadora will now give the opportunity to
die hard Saprissa fans to be buried in the favourite colours - Purple
and white.
The funeral home has begun selling caskets in the Saprissa team colours
and with the team logo on the cover. The flower arrangements can also be
of the team colours and emblems. And if the customer requests, the
funeral home, will even decorate the inside of the chapel in the team's
colours, all to satisfy the customer's last wishes.
The idea came when a customer had requested that he buried in the
Saprissa team uniform and a poll of some two thousand convinced the
funeral home to offer the service. The Saprissa team gave it it's
blessing.
The cost of the casket is about ˘380.000 colones (us$810 dollars).
For the time being, the funeral home has not decided if it will offer
caskets and decorations of the other favourite team, La Liga (Alajuela's
team) as well as of other popular soccer teams.
