Semana Santa or Holy Week is a religious
affair for many Costa Ricans, attending
church and taking part in processions and
religious activities. But, for many more
Costa Ricans it is a time off work to head
for the beaches, mountains and resorts

Locomotives For The
San José - Heredia To
Arrive Tomorrow
The four locomotives that will be providing
regular commuter service between San José
and Heredia are expected to arrive at the
port of Limón tomorrow, ending their
transatlantic trip from Spain.

of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano (near the
town of Curubande and the Rincon de la Vieja
National Park), a group of archaeologists
from the University of Costa Rica (UCR) has
recently made some interesting discoveries.
