Tehran - Presidents Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
(Iran) and Hugo Chavez (Venezuela) have
outlined revolutionary measures aimed at
boosting bilateral projects and ties.
Chavez and Ahmadinejad led the 2nd
Iran-Venezuela Business Commission which is
addressing ways to improve, among other,
industrial, trade, tourism, cultural,
scientific and political exchange.
Both favor boosting joint investments and
completion of industrial projects based on
"revolutionary measures" that help design
long-standing ties, including energy and
banking.
The Iranian president also talked on the
broad gold reserve existing at both
"revolutionary countries". "As long as the
world and capitalist system be in crisis we
must give our peoples hope and happiness
with fast and ample measures aimed at
boosting ties."
Chavez noted the chances and potentials for
both countries to brace cooperation, namely
with Latin America that if used, he said,
may benefit every one.
He also lashed again at the countries at the
root of the current global money crisis,
even though "it gives us opportunities and
opens new doors, so we celebrate it".
Chavez hailed the end of the unipolar world
and welcomed the multipolar world and hinted
chances to set up an Iranian-Venezuelan Bank
to signal South-South cooperation,
challenging "imperial hegemony" and cutting
dependence from world trade.
IRNA News Agency says Ahmadinejad accepted
the invitation from his peer to visit
Venezuela in May.
