Emergency Rooms on Weekends
The Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social
(CCSS) reports that the emergency rooms
at clinics and hospitals were saturated
this weekend as doctors attended to
patients with fracture injuries from
traffic accidents and street soccer.

when direct foreign
investment covered the
deficit of the current
account, the shortage of
foreign currency
resulting from the fact
that the goods and
services the country
bought abroad surpassed
