December 21st, 2015 (ICR News) Two earthquakes, the largest of which measured 5.0 magnitude, shook Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coast Sunday evening.
The first temblor, which measured 5.0-magnitude, struck at 6:52 p.m. about 19 kilometers southwest of Jaco, according to the National Seismological Network (RSN).
The second quake measured 4.7-magnitude, and struck at 9:22 p.m. 75 kilometers south of Quepos, according to the RSN.
While some shaking was reported as far away as the capital city of San Jose, there were no reports of injury or damage caused by either quake.
