300,000 ICE telephone customers will need to reconfigure voicemail on Wednesday

August 31st, 2015 (ICR News) Some 300,000 landline telephone customers of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) will need to reconfigure their voicemail on Wednesday, the company has announced.

ICE will begin migrating customers to a new voicemail platform beginning at 10 p.m. on Tuesday.  The entire migration is expected to be complete by 5 a.m. on Wednesday, ICE said.  The current voicemail system had been in use since 2000.

On Wednesday, customers should dial 1190 from their landline phone to set up their new voicemail box, including creating a new password and personal greeting.

The new system works in both Spanish and English, and users will be prompted for their language of choice.

Customers needing assistance with the new system can contact ICE support by calling 1193.
