Security camera captures deadly shooting outside bar in Jaco Beach [VIDEO]

Note both persons involved, the shooter and the victim, were not Costa Ricans. Perhaps there really IS something to the Ticos saying that alot of the crime comes in from hardened people from other more aggressive countries. I wasn’t living here when things were more peaceful and serene but certainly the end of the war in Nicaragua brought ex Sandista soldiers seeking to make a living in Costa Rica and they brought their skills and training in warfare and their hardened attitude here to get by. Soon even Costa Rican thieves were being trained in the more violent methods of stealing and robbing. The old favorite method of three men coming up to someone on the street, one man grabbing the neck in a choke hold from behind while the other two men grab the victims arms and go through his pockets. Within seconds the victim goes unconscious and the robbers get away. This happens regularly on the streets of San Jose. Early in the morning when people arrive in SJO to go to work, late at night–any time! The teams work like this, they are stationed on different sides of the street and separately they signal to each other. Within seconds they converge ona victim anf within a few more seconds, it is all over. So even if you carry a gun, they will soon have it in their possession and you are out of money, out of a weapon and out of breath, done, over, wake up and thank God you are still alive. Get on a plane,go back to U.S.A.where you know what areas to stay out of and what areas are safe or dangerous. Live in your safe neighborhood. No more CONSTANTLY looking over your shoulder. No more locking up everything you own. No more fearing even the housekeepers ( who are famous for stealing). Park on the street in front of your home or better yet, in your driveway where there are no iron bars around every square inch of your little jail you call a home.-no more taking 10 minutes to park your car in the little cage of your “front yard” so it will still be there in the morning, complete with it’s windows intact. No more watching the gas station attendant to see if he actually puts in diez mil or if he cranks the pump so that he actually puts in cinco mil. WTF ( What The Fu#k! What a way to live! You can have it ! It’s like choosing to live in the WORST neighnborhood in the USA. Go live in the Ghetto in your city–same feeling. Question is….WHY WHY WHY?
