June 4th, 2015 (InsideCostaRica.com) A more than $100 million USD development project has broken ground in Trejos Montealegre in the western San Jose suburb of Escazu.
The project, which will have an estimated 130,000 square meters of construction is known as “Escazu Village” and is being developed by the company Portafolio Inmobiliario.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of next year and will include 132 housing units, movie theaters, gyms, a daycare center, swimming pools, playgrounds and indoor parking. The project also includes office, retail and commercial space.
Some 70% of the commercial space has already been reserved by brands such as Mango Surf, GEF, Opticas Vision, Quiznos, Argento, Banco Promerica, Johnny Rockets and others.
