May 13th, 2015 (InsideCostaRica.com) Police discovered $350,000 USD in cash being carried by a motorcyclist early Wednesday morning.

 

According to the Ministry of Public Security, the man was searched after acting nervously near a checkpoint between Gudalupe de Goicoechea and downtown San Jose.  Surprised police officers discovered $350,000 in cash in the man’s backpack.

 

The suspect, identified by the last name Soto, was taken into custody on suspicion of money laundering.

    So living in Costa Rica now means you get stopped at checkpoints while driving in town? Looks a lot like living in Nazi Germany. The country has gone communist for sure. Much better living in USA. All the Gringos ( like myself) who fled to Costa Rica to escape Big Brother are now realizing that it is better in good “ol USA after all. And just wait until the SHTF very soon. Gringos will be targets, I mean if you understand Spanish at all, you will realize you are hated and definitely on their “list”: Do yourselves a favor and get out while you can.
