Remains found at Moin beach were animal, not human: OIJ
April 22nd, 2015 (InsideCostaRica.com) The press office of the Judicial Investigative Police (OIJ) confirmed on Tuesday that remains discovered partially buried at Moin beach in Limon were that of a dog, not a human.
Employees of the contracting company Meco had discovered on Monday what they and police arriving on the scene believed to possibly be human remains.
The discovery was made in the same area that environmentalist Jairo Mora was murdered in June 2013, perhaps leading some at the scene to suspect the worst.
