April 22nd, 2015 (InsideCostaRica.com) Costa Rican authorities were able to intercept a boat carrying some 640 kilos of cocaine off the coast of the Osa Peninsula on Monday.

 

The intercept occurred around 5:30 p.m. in a joint operation involving Costa Rica’s Air Surveillance Service, Coast Guard, and Drug Control Police (PCD).

 

A total of six men were taken into custody: four Costa Ricans, an Ecuadorian and a Colombian.
