Costa Rica seeks extradition of Iranian-American wanted by Costa Rica, U.S. for real estate fraud

April 21st, 2015 (InsideCostaRica.com) Costa Rican authorities are seeking the extradition from Nicaragua of Cyrus Anoushirvan Sepehr, an Iranian-American wanted by Interpol in Costa Rica and the United States.  Sepehr was taken into custody by Nicaraguan authorities earlier this month while traveling on false documents, according to reports.

 

Sepehr had spent the last eleven months under guard in official custody at the private CIMA Hospital in Costa Rica, apparently suffering from post-polio syndrome.

 

Sepehr escaped from the hospital, reportedly dressed as a doctor, on April 1st.

 

Sepehr, together with another person, is accused of defrauding some $11 million from eleven investors by presenting themselves and their company, Pacific West Development Group, as major real estate developers.  The victims were reportedly Iranian Jews.

    We don’t know why those investors didn’t file a complain in Los Angeles for all the money that was given to Dan Kohanarieh and his gang. They have sent kidnapper and hit man to the Sepehr’s family . Dan Kohanarieh Has a file with FBI to prove. These people took the money from the investors and blamed an innocent, honest man. They are willing to murder and ruin families for money….. Sepehr went to Costa Rica to clear his name. Then the extortions, lies and bad intentions from Dan KOHANARIEH STARTED. No court date was ever set because there was no proof of Sepehr receiving any money!!! That leaves DAN KOHANARIEH AND HIS GANGE having all the money that THEY collected from the investors in LosAngles. They do anything to keep Cyrus in Costa Rica for the investors not to find out of their conspiracy and theft. They are ruining an inocont family and they don’t care.
    There is a question : if the investors are real and gave money to Sepehr , why not going and file a complaint at district attorny showing proof of how much had been given and to whom???!!!!!!

      You are obviously his wife or family member. Anyone who defends someone like that its obvious they are guilty too. Perhaps he isn’t the #1 con artist but that doesn’t mean he isn’t #2. File a complaint with the district attorney? Give me a break lady. You know these were all so called “friends”. Hope he gets exactly what he deserves. By the way…#1 is Ali Moradshahi. Why don’t YOU go after him and file a complaint.

        Yes, I am his wife. I know the whole truth. WHO ARE YOU?! We knew nothing about Ali or you guys. You found an innocent family to prey on. You know, I still believe in God. I called Sofi a so called one of the investors. I told her that I am married for 26 years and if he stole from you or anyone to plz lets go together to file a complaint in LA with DA. She told me that she doesn’t know us and gave her money to DAN GOHANARIEH ! But they are scared to confront Gohanarieh due to his background. Wait and see the worse for your families….
