December 9th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) In an attempt to offer similar city tours to those in other major cities like London, a new company called VIP City Bus will begin offering tours of Costa Rica’s capital city in a specially designed double-decker tour bus from December 16th.
The tours will cost $60 for foreign tourists and $30 for residents. The tour includes a two-hour trip through the city in the specially designed tour bus, which offers extra-large windows on both decks for sightseeing and taking photos, a welcome cocktail, lunch, bilingual guide and a marimba show.
The tour will make stops at the National Theatre, Metropolitan Cathedral, The Gold Museum, La Plaza de la Cultura, La Plaza de la Democracia, the Legislative Assembly, the National Stadium and other points of interest.
Two daily tours, one at 10:30 a.m. and another at 2 p.m., will be offered Tuesday through Sunday, departing from and returning to Sabana Oeste.
More information is available on the company’s web site.
