Closures on Route 32 after multiple landslides

December 8^th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) At least three separate landslides have forced authorities to close several sections of Route 32, which connects San Jose and Limon, since Sunday night.

One of the landslides reportedly struck a vehicle, though there were no reports of injuries as a result.

Transit officials said that motorists would need to take alternate routes through Vara Blanca or Turrialba.

Authorities hope to clear the landslides by the end of the day Monday, depending on weather conditions.
