December 5th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Significant price reductions for gasoline and diesel fuels are effective as of today, after a November request by the Costa Rican Oil Refinery (RECOPE) was approved by regulator ARESEP and published in the official La Gaceta on Thursday.
Super gasoline will fall ¢68/liter, from ¢757 to ¢689; Regular will fall ¢65/liter from ¢720 to ¢655, while diesel will fall ¢29/liter from ¢636 to ¢607.
RECOPE said in its November request that the price reductions are thanks to falling international prices.
