Movistar Costa Rica introduces cheap smartphone running Firefox OS

December 4th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Mobile carrier Movistar introduced a new low-cost smartphone to the Costa Rican market yesterday, the first mobile phone running Firefox OS that has retailed in the country.

 

The Alcatel One Touch Fire C comes at a cost of just ¢38,900 without a contract.

 

The phone has a 5-inch screen, 3-megapixel camera, GPS, and a suite of applications similar to those found on other smartphones.

      They should at least work on AT&T. I believe they are factory unlocked.

        They’re in fact completely unlocked, is a requirement by law that no phone in the country will be SIM locked, even on contract phones.

        So you can grab one of this phones and use it where you want :)
