December 1st, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Costa Rican air carrier SANSA Airlines has joined Nature Air in offering a direct daily route between San Jose and Limon, the company has announced. The flight takes just a little more than 30 minutes each way.
In addition to Limon, SANSA will also begin offering service between San Jose and Tortuguero.
The company said that the addition of the routes was the result of increased consumer interest. SANSA currently offers service to San Jose, Puerto Jimenez, Golfito, Palmar Sur, Drake Bay, Manual Antonio / Quepos, Tambor, Tamarindo, Liberia and La Fortuna.
The daily flight to Limon will depart from the Juan Santamaria International Airport at 6:20 a.m., arriving in Limon at 6:51 a.m. In the opposite direction, the flight will depart Limon at 7:01 a.m. and arrive in San Jose at 7:56 a.m.
The route will be flown by a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan with a capacity for 12 passengers.
Nature Air announced service to Limon earlier this month.
