October 30th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) If you are interested in solar energy, you may want to visit the first annual ExpoSolar 2014 this Friday and Saturday.
The two-day expo, organized by Costa Rican Solar Energy Association, is your chance to learn about the latest technologies, products and services available in Costa Rica.
Vendors will provide “see and touch” displays, and expert speakers from industry and academia, both from Costa Rica and abroad, will provide talks on the benefits and challenges of solar energy.
Attendees will have the chance to learn about current technologies available, installation costs, as well as the opportunities – and red tape – involved in interconnection with the electric grid.
Products and services presented are aimed at both small, residential users as well as larger commercial users.
Friday will also include technical talks regarding the use of solar as part of the energy grid, as well as discussion surrounding the country’s regulatory framework.
The expo is being held at the Centro Nacional de Cultura (CENAC) in San Jose. More information is available on the expo’s web site.
