Movistar greatly expands 4G coverage in Costa Rica
October 29th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Movistar has announced the completion of a significant expansion to its 4G LTE service in the country, which offers mobile data speeds of up to 10 MB on 4G-capable smartphones and other devices.
The service is now available in provincial capitals including Liberia, Puntarenas and Limon; as well as Perez Zeledon, Ciudad Quesada, the Central Pacific coast and other areas.
The company has also expanded and improved its coverage areas in the Central Valley and throughout the San Jose metro area.
The company said it will continue its 4G LTE expansion in 2015.
