October 9th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) The Costa Rican Oil Refinery (RECOPE) says that fuel prices should see a decrease by November.
RECOPE’s most recent calculations estimate a ¢16 per liter drop for super gasoline, ¢17/liter drop for regular gasoline and ¢21/liter drop for diesel.
RECOPE is expected to send the request for the decreases to regulator ARESEP tomorrow for approval.
RECOPE said the decreases are the result of lower prices on the international market in recent weeks.
