5.2 earthquake rattled Costa Rica’s southern zone

September 1st, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck 44 kilometers south of Dominical at 4:10 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Strong shaking was reported in Quepos, Matapalo, Sarchi, Alajuela and some parts of Heredia.
Several aftershocks were reported.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
