Tourist Police in Jaco and Quepos receive more vehicles
March 17th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Police in Jaco and Quepos have received new vehicles in order to provide better security in the popular beach communities, authorities announced last week.
The vehicles will be provided to the Tourist Police. In the case of Jaco, officers received two Toyota Rav-4’s, three Toyota Hi Lux pickups, two ATVs, and a Toyota Corolla, the total cost of which were ¢130 million.
On Friday, officials presented Tourist Police in Quepos with two Toyota Rav-4’s, a Toyota Hi Lux pickup and two ATVs, the total cost of which were ¢94 million.
