February 26th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) The Public Service Company of Heredia (ESPH) is working on adding a new well to increase its water supply after water shortages continue to plague its customers.
The “La Joya III” well which is being drilled to a depth of about 200 meters comes at a cost of nearly $700,000. It is estimated the well will deliver 40 to 50 liters per second.
Officials said the new well would reduce the need for water rationing in Heredia.
