
Authorities are searching for this man, accused of a violent attack on senior citizens at a geriatric center.
January 8th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Agents of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) are searching for the man pictured above, who is accused of attacking 15 senior citizens in a geriatric clinic in Pavas after being notified that he was being fired from his job as a gardner and caretaker at the center. The man allegedly beat the senior citizens with a fire extinguisher, and also stole their cash.
The man is also accused tying up two employees and raping one of them during the melee. He is identified by the last names Acevedo Grijalba and is 22 years of age.
Hours before the attack at the geriatric clinic, the man had been arrested for a home invasion near the medical center, but was released from custody for unknown reasons. He then returned hours later to the medical center where he allegedly carried out the attacks.
Authorities are asking those who have any information on the man pictured to please call the OIJ’s Confidential Information Center at 800-8000-645.
