December 23rd, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Eleven new police stations will be constructed throughout the country during the first half of 2014.
The initiative is part of the Program for the Prevention of Violence and Promotion of Social Peace, developed from a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
The first four stations will be located in Palmares de Alajuela, Liberia, Guararí de Heredia and Carrandí de Matina.
The remaining stations will be located in Santa Cruz de Guanacaste, Santa Ana, Perez Zeledon, Sarapiqui, Alajuela, Heredia and Puntarenas.
