Number portability is functioning smoothly
December 4th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) The new system of number portability, which allows telephone customers to change providers while keeping the same number, is functioning smoothly since entering operation a few days ago, according to the regulatory agency SUTEL.
SUTEL said on Monday it had not received any complaints from consumers.
A SUTEL spokesperson said they do not currently have a report on the number of consumers who have taken advantage of the system, which went into effect on Saturday, November 30th.
