December 4th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) The mother of a 9-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday has filed a kidnapping complaint against her former partner, an American who is the father of the girl.

 

The Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) in Heredia has issued an alert and is attempting to locate 9-year-old Katie Brooken Lukensmeyer Solano.

 

According to the girl’s mother, her former partner picked the girl up on Friday and promised to have the girl home on Sunday.  The mother, who has custody of the child, and daughter are residents of Santo Domingo de Heredia.

 

The OIJ is urging anyone with information to contact their confidential tip line at 800-8000645 or email the Confidential Information Center at [email protected].
