November 7th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Of the 30 people on the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ)’s Most Wanted list, 22 had been granted early conditional release from prison, under a parole program intended to reduce overcrowding in the country’s prisons.
Many of their cases are related to robbery and drugs. Of the four persons on the most wanted list for murder, three had been released from prison early.
Among those on the most wanted list, who received early release from prison are two foreigners: an Irishman identified as Oforji Maduka, who was serving a sentence for international drug trafficking, and a French citizen, Cristofer Aquin Mansuelle, convicted of aggravated robbery.
