Authorities arrest three Somalis in Guanacaste, 27 more able to escape

October 31st, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Officers of the Fuerza Publica in Liberia, Guanacaste managed to arrest three Somali nationals Tuesday night, though 27 more were able to flee, according to police officials.

 

Sources said the Somalis had entered the country illegally from the northern border, though it is believed the group is en route to the United States.

 

According to officials, the three captured Somalis would be quickly deported.

 

Director of the Immigration Police, Josnan Murillo, said he was unable to provide additional details as the investigation was ongoing.
