GUATEMALA CITY (ISH) – Guatemalans Antonio Pompa and Wilmar Anavisca were arrested for allegedly working for Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel in the northern department of Petén on Oct. 18, Guatemala’s National Police said.
Pompa and Anavisca, who are suspected of overseeing the trafficking of narcotics from Honduras to southeastern Mexico, were taken into custody by the Tecún Umán Task Force, according to the Interior Ministry.
