Schoolteacher accused of molesting child

October 18^th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) A 26-year-old schoolteacher in Siquirres de Limón was arrested after being accused of molesting a child under 12 years of age, according to the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ).  The teacher was identified by the last name Chavarria.

Apparently, the teacher had a relationship with the student since April.  The girl told authorities that they even had sex inside the school, which she said happened at least twice per month.

Prosecutors requested that the teacher be removed from his job.  The teacher was released after being arraigned in the local Criminal Court.
