Route 142 between La Fortuna and Tilarán reopens, though work continues
October 18th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Route 142, an important tourist route around Lake Arenal between La Fortuna de San Carlos and Tilarán, Guanacaste, was reopened by road authorities yesterday, though work continues on the roadway in some areas.
The route had been closed since last week, after heavy rains caused several landslides.
Authorities said that remaining work would likely be completed by next week, weather permitting.
