Colombians suspected of operating drug ring in Samara arrested

October 16th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Authorities arrested eight Colombians on Sunday, October 13th, suspected of operating a drug ring in Playa Samara.

 

The suspects range between 25 and 52 years of age, and have been under investigation since January.  One of the suspects ran a bar in the community.

 

Authorities seized some 7 kilograms of narcotics, including cocaine and marijuana, which are believed to have arrived by boat, as well as some $4,000 in cash.
