Texas-based Valero Energy to sell 14.25 mln barrels of fuel to Costa Rica
October 9th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Texas-based Valero Energy won a tender by state-ran RECOPE to supply 14.25 million barrels of ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD), jet fuel and gasoline, according to a report by Reuters on Tuesday, which cited a trader close to the deal.
The tender is reportedly for 6.9 million barrels of ULSD, 6.05 million barrels of gasoline and 1.3 million barrels of jet fuel.
The cargo should be delivered in the next 12 months, beginning in November, according to the report.
