San Ramon ready to celebrate its patron saint

August 22nd, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) The residents of San Ramon are getting ready to celebrate the city’s patron saint, San Ramon Nonato in what is known to be one of the best celebrations in the country.

 

The celebrations begin tomorrow and conclude on September 2nd.

 

Activities include dancing, parades, concerts, traditional food, arts and crafts and more.

 

The traditional procession, which will include some 16,000 faithful, will be on August 30th at 9:30 a.m.

 

Musical acts will include Banda Chiqui Chiqui, Son Mayor, La Selección, Rogelio Cisneros, Los Vargas Brothers and Son de Tikizia, whose concerts will be free.

 

International Catholic singer Luis Enrique Ascoy will also perform on Saturday at 7 p.m.
