August 13th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Police officers of the Fuerza Publica seized 127 marijuana plants from a home located near the Tennis Club in Sabana Sur.  The seizure was made as police were serving a warrant against a man for domestic violence.

Officers spotted the plants when the man opened the door and later notified the Drug Control Police (PCD) who confirmed they were marijuana.

The plants ranged in size from 25 cm to 1.6 meters in height.  The subject was taken into custody by authorities.

This is so wrong on so many levels. Crimes without victims do not justify arrest and incarceration like this.

You did catch that part where they were the police where just stopping by to serve a warrente for domestic violence???

Caught it. Did you also catch that the plants in the photo do not look very healthy. This grower was just another amateur caught up by the overly harsh war on drugs. Hope they cut him some slack.

“domestic violence” can be a made up story, harsh words by the women. It is a catch all phase. Exactly what did he do??

This makes me feel so safe, Why do not the Police do someting for the people, give parking tickets to the hundreds of cars illegally parked down town. Then traffic will move much better.
Make sure you get the illegally parked Govt. workers. !!
