Prosecutors suspect 9-month old child kidnapped in Panama was to be sold in Costa Rica

August 12th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Prosecutors in Panama are investigating the case of a 9-month-old child who was kidnapped by a domestic servant working for the child’s parents.  Apparently the child was to be sold in Costa Rica.

 

Panama Border Police were able to recover the child.

 

The child was kidnapped by from a home in David, Chiriqui, in Panama.

 

Prosecutors believe the woman was attempting to bring the girl to Costa Rica in order to sell the child here.
